CGRS started with 2 key individuals from Kingston Contracting Inc.   Kingston Contracting Inc. was originally formed in 1978, by principal executives of a nationwide electrical construction firm, to perform contracting work on transit systems, power generation facilities and other heavy industrial facilities.  These key individuals, Carol Gillman (16 years with Kingston) and Scott Cunningham (6 years with Kingston) saw an opportunity to provide expertise in assembling components that control rail signals.  The new Corporation of CG Rail Signal Wiring, Inc. was formed on 4/13/07.   CGRS is a woman owned business and is in the process of certification as a woman-owned business (WBE).
